With Cre8 Salon and Spa here in Southwest Florida, just a few mere miles from the beaches, we see lots of beach weddings.

Last week we talked about finding the perfect spot as far as choosing a church wedding, outdoors, etc. But today we are going to focus on the beach since we’re right on the Gulf of Mexico.

Southwest Floridians don’t have far to travel to find a picturesque spot. There are some beautiful places in this area. Captiva and Sanibel islands are among the Travel Channel’s top Florida beaches.

People travel from all over to either get married in Florida or spend their honeymoon here.

If you decide a beach wedding is for you, put a lot of thought into your plans. Will you get married right on the beach or just have a reception or party on the beach? Will it be under a tent in case it’s the rainy season or to protect you from the heat?

Will it be at sunset, at sunrise or another time throughout the day? Florida sunsets make great photos.

Another thing you’ll want to consider is what to wear. On a warm day at the beach, wearing your hair up might not only provide the perfect style but also provide a little relief from the heat. You can add touches of the beach such as shell clips in your hair or other beach touches.

Whether it’s a big or a small wedding, the wedding party and bride and groom could dress more casual if they prefer. A beautiful simple dress could be a perfect choice for the bride.

At Cre8 Salon and Spa, we have many ideas you can use for your beach wedding. If you want some more tips, you can visit our
