Wedding Wednesday: Five long hairstyles for your wedding

Brides-to-be with long hair have a variety of choices for their wedding hairstyle. They have more options. They can wear it up or down.

This week we’ll take a look at five long hairstyles. These styles are for those brides who want to wear their hair down. Next week, we’ll take a look at five updos. If you missed the five short hairstyles, you can read them now.

Waterfall with a twist

Wedding long hairstyles

If you want to add something special to your down style, try a waterfall twist. This style takes strands of hair from each side, twisted together and tied loosely together in the back. Each side is twisted to the middle in the back and tied together with hair.
According to latest-styles.com, the waterfall twist works best on those with long layers and thick hair. If your hair is thin, the twist won’t be as noticeable.

Side ponytail

For extra long hair, this is a great style. The hair is curled and twisted into a low side ponytail. Latest-haristyles.com recommends avoiding this style if you have a round face because it will add more body to the sides. (Photo by Lindsey Shaun Photography)

Half up, half down

A half up, half down hairstyle is a marvelous choice. Take advantage of long flowing hair if you have it. Big girls with the sides pulled up slightly can show off long lush hair. Try adding a bold clip featuring feathers, gemstones, and pearls. (Photo Credit: Annie Randall Photography)
